आयपीएल चौकशीसाठी संसदीय समितीची मागणी

संसदेच्‍या दोन्‍ही सभागृहात गदारोळ

इंडियन प्रिमियर लीगमध्‍ये मोठ्या प्रमाणावर घोटाळ्याचे पुरावे हाती येत असून या प्रकरणाच्‍या चौकशीसाठी सरकारने संयुक्त संसदीय समितीची स्‍थापना करावी अशी मागणी भाजपसह सर्वच विरोधी पक्षांनी केली असून सरकारच्‍या चौकशीवर आपल्‍याला विश्‍वास नसल्‍याचे म्हटले आहे. विरोधकांच्‍या या मागणीमुळे संसदेत जोरदार गदारोळ सुरू असून त्यामुळे लोकसभा आणि राज्यसभेचे कामकाज तहकुब करावे लागले आहे.
आयपीएल घोटाळ्यात सत्ताधारी पक्षातील अनेक मंत्री आणि नेते सहभागी असल्‍याने या संदर्भातील चौकशीच्‍या निःपक्षपातीपणाबद्दल विरोधकांनी शंका उपस्थित केली आहे. सरकार आणि सरकारी यंत्रणांच्‍या चौकशीवर आपला विश्‍वास नसून या प्रकरणाच्‍या संपूर्ण चौकशीसाठी संसदीय समिती गठीत केली जावी अशी मागणी भाजपसह डाव्‍या पक्षांनी केली आहे.
तर या संदर्भात पंतप्रधानांशी चर्चा केल्‍यानंतर योग्य त्या बाबींचा विचार करून मगच निर्णय घेतला जाईल अशी भूमिका सरकारने घेतली आहे. यावरून दोन्‍ही सभागृहात जोरदार गदारोळ सुरू असून लोकसभेचे कामकाज सुरूवातीला 12 वाजेपर्यंत नंतर आणि नंतर दोन वाजेपर्यंत तहकुब करण्‍यात आले आहे. तर राज्यसभेचे कामकाजही तहकुब करण्‍यात आले आहे.
IPL Controversy: Joint Parl panel probe not ruled out

Government today did not rule out setting up of a Joint Parliamentary Committee to probe into the IPL controversy with Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee saying a decision would be taken after "due diligence."
"It (a decision on JPC) is to be taken after due diligence and consideration. It cannot be like instant coffee or instant consideration," he said in the Lok Sabha, responding to the Opposition demand for JPC.
Mukherjee, who is also the Leader of the Lok Sabha, said the government will have to ponder over it.
"I will communicate your sentiments to the Prime Minister.
As and when the government takes a decision, we will come to Parliament. Let us wait for some time," he added.
Not satisfied with his assurance, the Opposition members continued to press for immediate acceptance of their demand and in the din, Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the House for the day.
