पाक: रॅली दरम्यान स्फोट, 37 ठार

पाकिस्तानच्या वायव्य सरहद्द प्रांतातील दिर भागात एका राजकीय पक्षाच्या सभे दरम्यान घडवून आणलेल्या बॉम्ब स्फोटात 37 जण मारले गेले असून 100 पेक्षा जास्त जण जखमी झाले आहेत.
याबाबत पोलिसांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार अवामी नॅशनल पार्टीच्या रॅली दरम्यान झाला. पोलिसांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार आत्मघाती हल्लेखोर सभास्थानी जाण्याचा प्रयत्न करीत होता. मात्र त्याला गेटवरच अडविण्यात आल्याने त्याने स्वतःला उडवून घेतले. या हल्ल्यात सुमारे 37 जण ठार झाले असून 100 पेक्षा जास्त जण जखमी झाले आहेत.
या घटनेनंतर संपूर्ण भागाला सुरक्षा दलाने वेढा घातला असून बचाव कार्य सुरू आहे. राज्यात अवामी नॅशनल पक्षाचे आघाडी सरकार सध्या सत्तेवर आहे.
At least 37 killed, several injured in Dir blast
PESHAWAR
A bomb attack killed 37 people at a celebration organised by a political party in northwest Pakistan on Monday, with fears the death toll could rise further, police said.
The suspected suicide bomber attacked the open-air gathering in Timargarah, the main town in the district of Lower Dir, where Pakistan waged a major offensive against local Taliban insurgents last year.
“Thirty-seven people were killed,” Qazi Jamil, police chief for the northwestern region of Malakand, told Maaybhumi.
“Evidence collected so far indicates it was a suicide attack. We are investigating.”
